I recently completed CPR, AED, and First Aid training with Strategic Emergency Training & Consulting, and I cannot recommend them enough.Travis and Cody were outstanding instructors. Both are EMTs, and it shows in the way they teach. They didn’t just play the required training videos and move on. They added real-life examples, clarified areas that weren’t fully explained in the videos, and shared personal experiences that made everything feel practical and applicable. They even made it fun!They were also incredibly thoughtful during some of the more graphic portions of the training. They gave us a heads-up before intense clips and skipped over unnecessarily gory sections while still making sure we understood what we needed to know. That level of awareness and professionalism was truly appreciated.The hands-on portion was excellent. They broke us into smaller groups so they could carefully observe technique and make sure everyone was doing things correctly. It never felt rushed.Beyond CPR and First Aid, they offer Basic Life Support training, Wilderness First Aid, OSHA training, and more. They also provide AED equipment, LifeVac devices, business and home emergency kits, tourniquets, CPR barrier masks, and other safety gear. They even offer guidance on what to include in emergency kits for your home, vehicle, or hiking pack. That kind of practical support is invaluable.Their facility was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with conference areas, open practice space, and even kitchen access for breaks.Whether you’re an individual, a family, or a business looking to certify your team and install proper safety equipment, Strategic Emergency Training and Consulting is an excellent choice.CPR and First Aid skills are something every community member should have. Attended a BLS class with 2 of my co-workers today and with complete, full transparency- I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment we walked in, i was a lot more relaxed than I expected to be in this environment. We first met Cody who told us to make ourselves comfortable for the time being since we were a little early. Travis did an excellent job pointing out the key topics from the online session as we all agreed that it was a lot of information which was a little daunting at first. He also took the time to answer any questions anyone had thoroughly & respectively. There was definitely the perfect ratio of laughs and teaching; I know I’ll be returning when it’s time to renew my certification 🙂

The best CPR class hands down! The class was small and relaxed. The instructor made the class fun, educational and entertaining. And the icing on the top was the furry friend to keep us company during class. Would highly recommend this class to anyone needing their CPR certification!

I have taken CPR/first aid/AED certifications classes before, however after taking this certification class with Ryan McConky I can confidently say no other class compares! Not only did I learn more than previous classes, but I was genuinely interested and enjoyed the class. If I could rate this class higher than 5 stars I absolutely would. Very professional, informative, fun, and I loved his dog being present during the class!
