Fire Extinguisher Training
Fire extinguisher training equips employees with the knowledge and confidence to respond safely to small workplace fires. This training covers OSHA requirements under 29 CFR 1910.157, including when extinguishers should be used, how to identify fire classes (A, B, C, D, and K), and how to select the correct extinguisher for each type of fire. Participants learn proper inspection basics, safe operating techniques using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep), and the importance of evacuation procedures when a fire is too large or dangerous to fight. The course is designed to help employers stay compliant while promoting a safer, more prepared workplace.
